Jackal Fleece is a band out of Oakland, California. Started in 2009 by James Seevers on guitar, keyboards, and vocals and Kevin Brown on drums and fx (Black Ice, Red Voice Choir, MisAmerica), JF has a multi-faceted and unique approach to songwriting and content. Trained as a classical pianist, Seevers combines keyboard, minorly technical guitar work, and a pared down hardcore routine, with Kevin Brown augmenting the sound with blistering fills and off-beat syncopation.
